Sure, the gold variant comes with a disclaimer about fading, and I can imagine non-malicious reason to avoid specifics, but sheesh, ~30% remaining gold opacity at the common grip points after only a month of daily use is insane!

I actually like visual wear on my stuff (hence buying gold despite the disclaimer), but I want to 'earn' the wear over years of use; This here is playing the wear game on easy mode.

Otherwise: The insulation is great, and the lid design is well thought out!

Ordered up a bottle and use it all the time. Is the perfect size for what I need and how I use it. Well made, the blue bottle wasn't exactly the same color as on the site and the circuit board it hard to see so glad I also got a white one. Use one for coffee in the frig and the other for on the go. Would order again.
